Territory not determining according to postal code rules

Hi Experts,

 

Im new to SAP CRM Territory Management.

The requirement is to have the Territory determined in an Opportunity for Sales Employees.

 

I have set up the territory hierarchy in the WEBUI as follows -

Company

     Line Of Business

          Province

               Region

                    Territory 1( Here i assigned a sales rep)

               Region

                    Territory 2( Here i assigned a sales rep)

 

I created the Rule Policies, the rule policies for Builder and created a rule for each of the lowest level territories - Postal code rules

Rule 1 : between 1950 and 2050 = Territory 1

Rule 2: between 2051 and 3050 = Territory 2

 

Each lowest level territory has an employee assigned to it (Sales Rep)

Im using two customers to test -

Customer 1 falls within Postal Code 1 and has Sales Rep 1 assigned on BP

Customer 2 falls within Postal Code 2 and has Sales Rep 2 assigned on BP

 

I am Sales Rep 1, I am also the "User" for config and testing

 

In GUI,

I copied OPPT to Z txn

Kept it as standard but I ticked the Territory Check box

Org Data Profile is copy of 000000000005 SALE Org. Data Profile for Order (Header) to Z txn with Org Model Det Rule 10000194

 

Now, when I log onto the WEBUI and create a new txn Opportunity, and select my Z opportunity from the pop-up, it immediately populates Empl Resp with my name and determines Territory 1. So I am assuming its determining the empl resp from my user, and in turn its pulling Territory 1 because I (as sales Rep1) am assigned to this territory.

When I enter Customer 2 as Prospect (who according to the postal code rule I set up, should fall within Territory 2), it doesn't change the territory to Territory 2. It just stays as Territory 1. No errors or anything. Even though Customer 2 with Postal Code 3005 should = Territory 2.

 

The problem is I don't want it to populate Territory on opening the transaction, but only by the postal code of the BP (Prospect) I enter in the transaction, and by this, in turn determine the responsible employee who is assigned to that territory.

 

Have I got the right idea here, or am I missing something? It seems it is ignoring the rules I created for postal codes.

Territory management - Maintain custom attribute

Hello All

 

I'd like to add the marketing attribute set in territory attributes. Could you please suggest the steps?

 

In the below customizing,

 

IMG - CRM - Master Data - Territory Management --> Territory Attributes --> Maintain Territory Attributes. (T-code - CRM_TERRMAN_ATTRMAIN)

 

Do I add a new condition group ID to support various marketing attribute sets or

Do I add the marketing attributes individually in the BP condition group ID? If so, could you please suggest the values that are supposed to go into the below fields

 

Condition Attribute ID

Help Type

Data Type

Reference Table/ Field - Can I use AUSP/ ATINN? Else, please suggest the SMO tables for Marketing attributes, If any.

Ref Object Type

Alerting: Turn off automatic emails

Dear experts,

 

we'd like to turn off sending of emails that were triggered by alerts.

We know that each and every user can setup by his own wether he wants to receive alerts as email or not.

 

However, is there a way to globally deactivate sending alerts as emails for the CRM system?

Internal Order creation from sales order

We have a requirement to create internal order for a repair order that does not have a contract and attach the internal order to that sales order. Can anyone provide any suggestion how to do this?

Relationship between Coupon Number and Discount

Hi All

 

Can anyone  please guide me with the coupon number and discount relation ? Is there any direct relation between the both , on the basis of which I can track my discount for the particular coupon number?For now I am able to track the discount on campaign ID only , Please look for the process i followed for generating the discount for a particular business partner on the basis of Campaign ID .

 

 

Screen 1 shows an Interaction agent screen in which i enter the campaign number , though i require a coupon number so that i can directly reimburse my coupon and fetch the discount .

 

Screen 2 shows me the pricing details of that bp in the IC agent screen and gives me the net value after deducting the discount for that campaign id .

 

Screen 3 shows me the sales order in the sales bro business role which gives me the complete price details for that campaign and discount allotment .

 

Here my relation is Campaign id --- Discount ,,, but i want it to be (Coupon Number --- Discount) .

Territory Management - Additional Attributes

Hello,

 

We are implementing territory management in CRM 7.0.

Now we need to add an additional attribute to the rules.

 

We have made the configuration in CRM- MasterData-TM-Territory attributes- Maintain Territory Attributes and also implemented the Badi CRM_TERRMAN_ATTRIB.

 

We have created a territory hierarchy with rules based on this new attibute.

 

After we changed the business partner attribute and ran the job CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL the territory relationships are not working correctly.

 

Any idea for this issue?

SAP CRM Product Bundle

Dear SAP CRM Guru,

 

I want to ask about the correct step to do customizing for product bundle in SAP CRM,

 

i already try to create a prodcut bundle (using t-code COMMPR01) using material name BUNDLE and insert two material MATERIAL_1 and MATERIAL_2 to the product bundle

 

but when i try to create the sales order using product bundle, i had an error 'No Item Category Could Be Determined', after that i try to determined the item category, after i determined the item category the price for the product bundle add the price of the material, for example

 

i have a product bundle with name BUNDLE contain MATERIAL_1 and MATERIAL_2, the product bundle had a price 300 and the material had a price 200 each,

 

when i use the product bundle in sales order the price i want only the BUNDLE price (300) but if i determined the item category for the material it added the price, and the price became 300+200+200 = 700, but the price i want only the bundle price,

 

can someone tell how the correct way to use product bundle in sap crm?


B2B ISA on ECC

Hello Guys,

 

We have a requirement to set up E-commerce for mySAP ERP. After having checked the technical components, I come to know that we need a dual stack ECC 6.0 system.

 

However, we do not have a dual stack ECC 6.0 system in our landscape. So as a workaround, is this possible:

 

deploy ISA component on Java system and then connct it to ECC 6.0(only abap) via XCM configuration.

CRM Order with gATP Check-Functionalities

Hi,

 

We are having the following requirements at a customer who is using CRM as the Lead order entry system:

 

a.) Product availability check with gATP

b.) MLATP

c.) RBATP with Location Product Substitution

 

The process is as follows: Sales orders (CRM_Oder) is placed in the CRM web UI, the gATP check is done in APO, the order is saved in CRM and transferred to ECC.

 

As per SAP Help, Basic availability check, RBATP with Location and product substitution are the only possible functionalities. With SPM and EWM activated, the functionlities of Kit To Order, TPOP,PASS are supported through CRM.

 

Could some one help us understand if the above mentioned functionalities are supported in CRM.

Partner function Sales Document

Hi Gurus,

 

In SAP CRM sales document, we determine our partner functions automatically. Now when i want to create a sales order, the system displays a pop up to select a partner.


The pop-up window show a bill to party and the sold to party. My customer doesn't need to select between them. They need that the system determine the bill to party automatically without confirm with the pop-up (Partner selection document header sap crm).


Do you know if into the customizing of partner procedure determination exist  an option to skip this pop up in the sales order?

How to change the drop down list for Opportunity Item STATUS field

Hi Experts,

We have implemented SAP CRM SALES 2.1 in our landscape.

 

1. In Opportunities we have STATUS field for Header and as well as Item.(This is SAP Standard field)

2. For this STATUS field its showing the drop down list.

3. At header level and Item level also its showing same list of values.

4. I want to display item STATUS drop down values at item level from TJ30 table .

 

How to display that values, can any one please help me in this.

CRM - Scheduling agreement

Hi,

 

Can some one tell me how to handle Scheduling agreement thro CRM like in ECC.

 

Open suggestion and recommendation with respect to your previous experiences is appreciated.

 

Basically we want to use Quotation , contract , Sales order thro CRM create/Change only thro CRM 7.0 UI.

 

However we don't know how to manage Scheduling agreement.

Validation of SAP CRM Sales Mobile App 2.1 enhancement fields

We are implementing the SAP CRM Mobile Sales 2.1 App on Apple ipads and have succeeded in bringing in additional/enhancement fields, now we would like to validate these fields. Is there a way of sending validation messages to the device via the CRM Addon Badi?

How to populate SSFVKEYDEF table for SAP Encryption

Hello there,

 

I am activating SAP Encryption in CRM system. We performed all the steps described in OSS notes, but the encryption is not occurring. We ran the test program PCA_SECURITY_CHECK. No encryption.

 

When I debug the program, it is not encrypting because the table SSFVKEYDEF is empty. There is no step in OSS mentioning populating this table. I googled it but nothing i can find to populate. All I see is how to delete entry from this table.

 

Does anyone know how to populate this table?

free good item position not editable

Hi Gurus,

 

We are facing a problem with the item positions for free goods.

We need to validate when the item position has beed modified, i.e when

the user erroneously enter a free goods quantity larger than the order

quantity determined (in the item category determination in accordance with the free condition det. procedure ).

 

In order to solve this problem we need to replicate the same R3 functionality in the sales order document.

 

Do you have any suggestions to do this?

Maybe, Make the item position for free goods no editable, or a message error when the user enter a different quantity into the item position (quantity larger than the original).

Created Objects from GUI or from Mobile are not regestring in ACL tables in ACE.

Dear Experts in ACE,

 

Kindly help me in resolving the issue with ACE... I need this VERY URGENT. so please.

 

here is my issue with ACE.

 

when i create Contact person from GUI or from Mobile application the contact person gets loaded into CRM which is coming into ACE as well and the surprisingly once the acl table gets filled in the method CL_CRM_ACE_OBJECT~PROCESS_OBJECT_CREATION

 

=> TEMP.-RIGHTS: add TEMP.-RIGHTS to ACL-TABLE
       INSERT
           (ls_table_names-acl_table_name)
         FROM TABLE
           lt_acl_objs
         ACCEPTING DUPLICATE KEYS .


it is calling dispatcher job

*=> makes sure that the objects will be registered and the Dispatcher will be started after enclosing commit

after this step the object created in ACL table vanishing whereas the operation i.e. creation from UI is happening properly updating ACL table.

could you please let me know what exactly needs to be done here.
