Characteristic groups in sales process

Hello,

it is possible to select the characteristic groups of a product variant within the sales process?

There are 2 characteristic groups in our R/3. The CRM WebUI shows these groups. The quotation form (SmartForm) prints the configuration of a product. With the characteristic groups we want to hide some configuration properties.
