Z Date type is showing only on Date assignment Block

Hi Folks,

While using Date profile, first I created my own date profile (without copying the standard date profile). After running the transaction on gui, it is working absolutely fine. As far as Web-ui concern, It is determining date type (valid to & valid from) but only showing on date assignment block. General assignment block is still greyed out.

While using Z profile (copying the standard date profile), it is working perfectly fine.

Please let me know the logic behind it......Although I am doing the same thing and In Date profile screen "only display" field is also not ticked.
