CRM Availability check with APO-gATP with Interchagebility 'on'

Hello CRM experts,

I would like to seek your guidance on the below scenario.

We have requirement  from one of the project where sales order entered in CRM and client would like to use APO-gATP for availability check.

We are using CRM / ECC with interchangeability 'ON' that means the CRM entered order could be updated from ECC. That means , we would be using the Scenario 'A' ( for APO-gATP).

In such scenario , we would like to use Product availability with Allocation and Rule based availability functionalities from APO-gATP,

But from SAP documentation , I understood from the restrictions that RBA does not work (with such scenario with order entry from CRM). Is there any alternative , if RBA & product allocation functionalities can be fully utilized for our scenario.

Let me explain,

The sales order entered in CRM , here only the availability will be shown as information from APO and no 'reservation'.  The order will be replicated in ECC and the availability check happens again with APO-gATP,

The APO-gATP check information flows to ECC and again replicated in CRM,

This is also called as 'delayed' Availability check .

Is there any possibility of using the above scenario with RBA and Product allocation?

But from below link , I came to know that RBA will not work from ECC.

below are restrictions given from the above link.

Restrictions When Using Interdependent Changes

·         Billing is only possible in the ERP system and not with CRM Billing.

·         The use of rebate conditions is not supported.

·         The use of objects is not supported.

·         The use of configurable materials and structured products is supported with the following restrictions:

·         When you make configuration-relevant changes in the ERP system to an item that was created in SAP CRM, changes to quantity or the configuration in SAP CRM are no longer possible.

·         An item that is relevant for configuration and was created in the ERP system cannot be changed in SAP CRM.

·         Credit approval and rejection, as well as new credit checks, can only take place in one system. This can be either SAP CRM or the ERP system.

·         An availability check from SAP CRM with SAP APO is not supported. Therefore, a rules-based availability check in SAP APO is not possible either. You can only perform an availability check in the ERP system.

Maintenance of combined business transactions (quotation and order items in one transaction) is not supported by the ERP system. You can only transfer business transactions that contain either only order items, or only quotation items.

Regards,
