Hello,
I am looking for a solution to avoid update conflicts on customer objects between ERP and CRM. I want to allow customers to be updated on both systems but want to avoid inconsistencies of course.
Therefore I did some research and found the very promising CSL-concept documented here in SAP help. I assume that it allows me to use the CRM lock object EBU_PARTNER when accessing the customer object in ERP and vice versa to use ERP lock object EXKNA1 when editing the customer object in CRM.
Unfortunately that documentation is somewhat overcomplicated and I fail to understand the customizing requirements, fundamentally if I need to maintain lock managers in each system or only one lock manager on one system(and reference it on all other systems) and more specificly how to customize the (pseudo) RFC setup via table CSL_CCP.
Has someone of you tried to apply the CSL concept to lock customers across systems? Can someone maybe give me an example of required customization settings to tie two systems together?
Thanks in advance and regards,
anton
