we have a requirement in which discounts will be maintained in a custom table for a group of products. When customer creates an order, we need to check the ordered products and find out what all discount set combinations available and apply the best combination among them. In a previous project I worked on applying discounts. But that was coming in the order confimation page so we put the code in order save badi implementation. In this req everytime we create/edit etc this functionality need to get triggered and maintain the discount for item level. if I am not wrong cond_com_badi is used for auto pricing determination. As here we have to first analyze the best discount and pass it, not sure if we can use the same cond_com_badi.
If any one worked on similar requirement please suggest where I need to put the code ? exec_method_ppf / order_save / any pricing enh spots etc ?
