How to change the view using do_config_determination?

Hi Experts,

Please let me know how to use the method do_config_determintaion ,if you want to change the view in same window?

The requirement is that suppose there is one dropdown list in which a value like 'OWN VEHICLE', then there is another field like type of vehicle.It is madatory to fill that field. You have to enter the value of vehicle type.

Please guide me how to proceed in this case.
