We are currently testing a CRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 upgrade to CRM ENH3 and ECC ENH 7. After the upgrade we started having issues replicating sales orders from CRM to ECC that contain configured materials. For example if I create a CRM sales order that has 2 fully configured materials when it replicates to ECC the characteristic values for all but the first KMAT will be removed. If I have the same KMAT in the order multiple times I get different results. For example I create an order in CRM with the following KMATs:
1 KMAT ABC
2 KMAT CBA
3 KMAT ABC
In this case when I look at the order in ECC the first and third KMATs will contain all of their characteristic values. The 2nd KMATs characteristic values will be removed. Likewise if I create the following order with the same exact KMATs:
1 KMAT CBA
2 KMAT ABC
3 KMAT CBA
Again the first and third KMATs will retain their characteristic values and KMAT ABC values will be gone.
Not only are the characteristic values being removed in ECC, the confirmation being sent back to CRM is removing them there as well. All of this can be confirmed by looking at the outbound and inbound BDOCs as well as by debugging BAPI_SALESDOCU_PROXY_UPLOAD.
If I create the order in ECC and replicate to CRM we have no issues with the values being removed.
Any ideas ?
