Replicating text type from ECC to SAP CRM

Hi Folks,

In my ECC client for quotation transaction at both header level and item level there are some text types.They are different from CRM text types.My question is

.Are text types replicated from ECC?If yes what is the middleware object.

Or should we create similar text types in CRM also?

In case of material text it is copied from material master.So if Material master is downloaded text should also be there Am I right?

What about the other custom text types?
